Hello, Discord community! We’re thrilled to announce a major update to our bot that will take your social media experience to a whole new level. We’ve offloaded the social media functionality to its very own server, significantly reducing the load on the bot server and making it more scalable than ever before.
The New Custom System
Our cutting-edge custom system is designed to handle thousands of subscriptions across various social media platforms. Here’s what we’re working on:
- Modular Webhook Server: This powerhouse can manage YouTube RSS feeds, Twitch webhooks, and efficiently poll the Reddit API. But that’s not all! This system is built to scale and will soon support many more platforms.
- Webhooks Management: Our system handles all webhooks outside of the bot server, ensuring that only subscribed guilds (servers) receive updates for platforms, channels, posts, RSS feeds, and individuals. This means no unnecessary clutter—just the content you care about.
- Scalable Growth: This system is incredibly scalable, allowing us to grow and expand in the future without any hitches. It’s designed with the long-term in mind, ensuring that your community stays up-to-date with the latest and greatest.
Supported Feeds
Our system is versatile and supports a wide range of feed formats, including:
- RSS Versions: 0.90, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 1.0, 2.0
- Atom Versions: 0.3 and 1.0
- CDF (Channel Definition Format)
- RDF (Resource Description Framework)
This means admins can add any type of feed (RSS or Atom), and it will work seamlessly without any manual intervention.

Our system’s universal handling is why we refer to it generically as “RSS” in the user interface, even though it supports multiple feed formats behind the scenes.
